I have 10 of these polishes, so I'll be splitting my swatches into 2 posts.
The formulas on all of these were really good. They applied smoothly and dried quickly. All of these swatches are with top coat.
Hedwig is a mix of white, brown, black and yellow glitter in a white creme base. It has tiny matte white bar glitter that looks like shredded coconut. I'm not really a fan of bar glitter but they're not very obvious here. This is 3 coats.
Patronus is a mix of white and blue flakies in a shimmery white base. I really like the subtle flecks of colour in this. There are some really small flecks and bigger chunks as well, but it applies smoothly. This is 3 coats.
Draught of Peace is a shimmery turquoise creme with small silver glitter and silver flakes. The turquoise leans blue and has a dusty quality. This is 3 coats.
Chocolate Frog is a mix of gold and brown glitter in a blue jelly base. I love the way the gold seems to be suspended in the base, and it makes some of them look light blue. This is 2 coats.
Horcrux is a mix of green colour shifting flakes and sterling silver flakes in a black base. At first I thought it would be similar to Butter London Jack the Lad, but the flakes are bigger, more irregularly shaped and are more multi coloured. I really like this, it's so unique. This is 3 coats.
The Magical World collection is priced at $7.99 with free Australian shipping over $50 from Alanna Renee, and will probably be available soon from Shoppe Eclecticco and Color 4 Nails for international girls.
Part 2 of my swatches of this collection can be found here.
